Matthew Smith, Ph.D

Matthew Smith brings his deep passion and commitment for the success of boys and men of color to DLI. As co-founder and Principal Investigator for the California State University (CSU) Young Males of Color Consortium, he led the development of a strategic plan for CSUs to systematically address and eradicate the opportunity gap for young males of color. He also served as the Director of Educational Partnerships at CSU Dominguez Hills. He currently serves as Interim Associate Vice President of Student Life/Dean of Students at California State University, Dominguez Hills.
